Terms and Conditions

1. Supply of Free Items, Conditions of Product Sale

Product orders and purchases placed through Save Water Save Money at (the Site) are managed by Save Water Save Money Limited. Each order you place, and purchase of product(s) you make, is subject to these terms and conditions.

1.1 Orders

When you place an order via the Site, we will send you an email acknowledging receipt of your order, together with your order number and details of the product(s) you have ordered. Please note this email is an acknowledgement and is not an acceptance of your order.

Unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, we accept your order. Our agreement is formed when we accept your order. An order confirmation email is sent for all orders which are placed.

You must be 18 or over to order products from SWSM.

We will take reasonable steps to display as accurately as possible the colours, appearance and other details of our products in the images that appear on the Site and other media. However, we do not guarantee that these images will exactly reflect the colour, appearance or detailing of the physical product.

All products are subject to availability. If you order products which are not available from stock, we will take reasonable steps to contact you to discuss how you wish to proceed. You will have the option to wait until the products are available from stock or cancel your order.

1.2 Free Products

Free products distributed on behalf of Water Companies are limited to household supply customers at their place of residence or non-household customers at their business premises, and to one order per household or business, unless otherwise specified on the Site.

Please read and follow accompanying product instructions before fitting.

Neither Save Water Save Money nor your Water Company accept any liability for damage incurred to your fixtures or property as a result of installation or use of any products provided for free.

1.3 Paid-For Products

For paid-for products, prices including VAT are as stated on the Site at the time of ordering. The total cost of an order itemised by product cost, delivery cost and VAT is shown on the basket page before payment.

Some paid items can go into a review status if it relates to the subsidised client waterbutts, if this happens and we can proceed with the order we would always make contact with the customer advising why it cannot be accepted and issue a refund of the full amount – this is quite rare though and doesn’t happen too often.

We may update prices at any time. From time to time we may apply promotional prices to products. These promotional prices are subject to the terms of that promotion. To take advantage of promotional prices, you must quote the relevant promotion code when you order (where applicable). We may update promotions at any time.

We must receive payment in advance before your order can be processed.

We accept all major debit and credit cards. If you have any concerns regarding payment, please call 0345 371 0728.

All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks by third parties and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of the card refuses to authorise payment or any other validation checks return adverse results, we will not accept your order and we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery and we are not obliged to inform you of the reason for the refusal.

2. Delivery

2.1 Free Products

All free products are delivered by post and will mostly fit through a letter box (unless you have ordered a showerhead or hose trigger gun). For all items that are offered for free, please allow up to 28 days for delivery from the date the order is placed. If you wish to track the progress of your order, please email us at with your order number and we'll be happy to help. Alternatively, you can use our order tracking service (please note your order number should only include numbers not letters ie.123456)

Free products can only be delivered to the address your Water Company supplies to. If you are ordering for a 2nd home, please order to this address, not your main home. Parcels do not need to be signed for.

2.2 Paid-for Products Standard Delivery

To understand the exact cost of delivery to your chosen address please check your basket, by clicking on the shopping cart in the top right-hand corner of the website. There is a £5 standard delivery fee for waterbutts and then various postage costs for the smaller paid for items, dependent on the size of the item you are purchasing.

2.3 More Remote Parts of the UK

Please note that although we deliver to the whole of the UK the following post codes may require a special delivery, depending on what products you order:

AB, BT, DD, HS, IV, KW, LL, PA, PH, SY and ZE

If you live in one of these areas and your delivery price in the basket is showing POA (Price On Application) please contact our customer service team at or by telephone on 0345 371 0728 and one of our water saving specialists will be able to quote an exact price and organise delivery.

Unfortunately, at present we are unable to deliver goods outside of the UK.

2.4 Water Butts

All our water butts are delivered by courier. Generally, they are delivered within 10 days, however due to the popularity of our water butts especially in the Spring and Summer, we advise that it may take up to 28 days for you to receive your goods. If your order is taking longer than this, then please email with your order number and we'll be happy to update you on the progress of the order.

Should you not be available to accept the delivery on the arranged day, a further delivery will be arranged and attempted. If you are still not available you may be liable for a re-delivery charge of £15.

We are unable to deliver water butts to the following postcode areas -
  1. Scottish Islands - HS KW PA PH ZE
  2. Scottish Highlands - AB IV PA PH
  3. Channel Islands - no service available
  4. Isle of Man - IM
  5. Isle of Wight - PO30-PO41
  6. Isles of Scilly - TR21-TR25
  7. Northern Ireland - BT

If for some reason an order of water butt appears to have been accepted on the Site for delivery to the above postcode areas, we will contact the customer to advise the order cannot proceed and issue a refund.

2.5 Your Product’s Carbon Footprint

Here at Save Water Save Money Ltd we believe that businesses are responsible for achieving great environmental practice and operating in a sustainable manner. This policy is at the forefront of everything we do including how we deliver your goods to you. We use many different suppliers from all across the UK meaning we can offer the best quality products at competitive pricing.

To achieve these high standards, we work hard with our suppliers to reduce deliveries into as a fewer trips as possible, saving on delivery miles. Many paid-for products are delivered direct from the manufacturer to your door, reducing your goods’ carbon footprint from transport costs.

This does, however, mean that you may order several items from our website which are all being delivered by different suppliers in different parts of the country, under these circumstances we cannot always pass on a discount on delivery of multiple items.

2.6 Order Cancellation and Returns

We hope you are completely satisfied with your order. We endeavour to describe our goods as fully as possible. However, we do understand that occasionally you may wish to return an item.

When you receive your order, please make sure that you check your items carefully before they are used or installed. We also recommend that you keep your receipt and order number, which can be found on your order confirmation email, as you will need these as proof of purchase in the event of any after-sales queries.

Our returns policy is in line with Distance Selling Regulations which state you can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt of your products. Once you have informed us you wish to return your order you have a further 14 days to return it. Any refund due will then be made 14 days after we have received the goods you have returned (for paid-for products only).

Any products which become faulty within a product guarantee period can be returned for replacement or refund of the original cost of the order, including both product and postage costs. For further details on product guarantees, please see section 3 of this document.

Please note that when returning non-faulty items, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure returned items are received in a resalable condition with the original packaging. All items must therefore be suitably packaged with the cost of both return packaging and postage being the responsibility of and at the expense of the customer.

2.7 Returning your item

For all returns or replacements, please contact in the first instance with the following details:

  1. Your order or invoice number
  2. The date of your order
  3. Details of the products(s) you wish to return
  4. The reason for your return and whether you’re requesting a refund or a replacement. Please provide a photo where possible/if appropriate
  5. Confirmation of contact details including your full name, preferred email address, telephone number and postal address.

On receipt of your email, we will contact you within 2 working days.

3. Product Guarantees

Guarantees only apply to products which have been used for the purposes for which they are intended.

The length of product guarantee for free products distributed on behalf of Water Companies is one year from receipt of your order, unless otherwise stated on the relevant ordering page. For any enquiries concerning product guarantees, please email or call 0345 371 0728.

Product guarantees for paid-for products are shown on the relevant webpage. The product guarantee is for the purchaser in the case of paid-for products and the person named on the order for free products distributed on behalf of Water Companies. Product guarantees are not transferable and in the event of any claim, proof of purchase will be required for paid-for products and proof of ordering will be required for free products distributed on behalf of Water Companies.

Product guarantees only apply to manufacturing or material defects and do not apply to normal wear and tear, accidental damage or inappropriate use.

Product guarantees apply only to the product itself with liability limited to the cost of the product, excluding any claim for consequential loss or damage. Product guarantees are only valid for products installed in the UK. Where a product guarantee applies, Save Water Save Money reserves the right to either replace or refund a product.

4. Limitations and Save Water Save Money’s liability

In your ordering and/or purchasing of products from the Site, to the extent not prohibited by law, Save Water Save Money does not accept liability for any:

  1. loss which is not foreseeable (loss is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of our breach or if it was contemplated by you and us at the time you started to use the Site);
  2. loss which arises when we are not at fault or in breach of these terms and conditions;
  3. business loss (which includes loss of profits, loss of business, contracts, goodwill, business opportunity and other similar losses).

If you are acting as a consumer, you may have certain legal rights regarding claims in respect of losses caused by our negligence or failure to carry out our obligations. Nothing in our agreement is intended to limit your legal rights as a consumer.

In cases where Save Water Save Money runs and manages the Site in partnership with another entity (e.g., a Water Company), the limitations and liability provisions in this section shall apply in full to such partner.

5.Contacting us

Customer Services are available from 9:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays at or by calling 0345 371 0728. Calls costs are the same as calling a normal landline, however, call costs from mobile phones may vary depending on your service provider.

6. Quality policy

Save Water Save Money Ltd. aims to provide a service to clients and customers that meets or exceeds their expectations. The Company will comply with the requirements of the ISO9001 Standard and all other applicable legislation and other requirements and will operate a Quality Management System to ensure that these needs are met. The setting of objectives and monitoring of progress against the objectives is an integral part of the Quality Management System. The Company is committed to continually improving the effectiveness of its Quality Management System and will commit appropriate financial and other resources and use all sources of feedback to help it improve the system.

The Quality Policy is implemented by the operation of a Quality Management System and appropriate trained resources are allocated to operate the system. The policy and objectives are communicated to the workforce by the senior management team and are reviewed annually.
