Once established please don?t over water your plant as it needs to grow a strong root structure which in turn actually makes the plant water efficient.

Product Description
Nothing beats the simple beauty of tall sunflowers. With a little feeding and care, it is easy to grow plants to 2 meters or more! Loved by children and adults alike, the plants are quick growing and in autumn the attractive seed heads are great for providing wild birds with a treat.
Planting Time: Indoors March - April. Outdoors: April - May Flowering Time: July - October
Planting Indoors: Plant each seed on its own in a small pot containing damp compost or garden soil, then cover with some more damp soil. Place in gentle warmth 10 -15 C. Keep it indoors until the first leaves show on a sunny window sill.
From May onwards take your pots outside and after 2 weeks pop the plants into the soil in a sunny spot about 60cm apart.
Planting Directly Outdoors: Plant seeds 2cm deep in pre-watered soil about 23cm apart. Keep the soil damp until the little plants are growing well. Then take every other one out leaving the strongest in. You may need a bamboo cane to support the plant as it grows higher.
