The Save-a-Flush is a flat bag containing a biodegradable polymer which swells on contact with water, plus a little sand to provide some weight. Simply pop it into your cistern, and let it sit there displacing 1 litre of water.

The Save-A-Flush bag sits in your cistern reducing the volume of your cistern. Allowing you to save a litre of water every time you flush. That works out to a saving of over 5,000 litres of water every year*.
When it’s time to replace, you can empty the contents of the bag on your garden (the polymer will aid water retention in the soil) and the bag can be recycled. Save a Flush bags are not suitable for dual flush toilets. If you install a Save a Flush bag and find you have to flush the toilet more than once, please remove the bag from the cistern as you may already have a low flush toilet.
