With Ecoballs 150 there is no need for washing detergent or fabric softener. If you're not sure whether non-detergent washing is for you, then the 150 pack is an ideal 'taster'.
Simply pop these two space age-looking balls in the washing machine drum with a load and let them work their magic. Plus, you can reuse them 150 times!
How they work
The pellets inside the Ecoballs penetrate the fibres, lifting away dirt without fading colours or damaging delicate fabrics. They’re great for members of the family with sensitive skin and are a natural alternative to traditional washing detergents. As there’s no detergent to rinse away you can save energy and money by cutting out the rinse cycle.

With the Eco-Balls would it be OK to use fabric softener?
You can use fabric softener with Eco-Balls. The manufacturer says: "You should find that the garments are naturally soft without the use of fabric softener. If you do miss the synthetic smell we suggest that you only use an Eco softener such as Ecover, but do not add it to the wash. When the wash is complete, remove the Eco-Balls, add the softener and switch the machine on to a short rinse".
